Responsibilities
- Research Execution – Conduct end-to-end market research by understanding project briefs, aligning on scope and timelines, and gathering secondary data from credible sources.
- Market & Competitor Analysis – Perform qualitative assessments such as market segmentation, competitor benchmarking, and market landscape mapping to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Data Management – Organize, clean, and structure research findings using Excel or similar tools to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Insight Development – Analyze collected data using critical thinking to extract actionable insights and strategic implications.
- Reporting & Communication – Deliver clear, structured outputs such as research reports, insight decks, and internal white papers using PowerPoint or Word.
- Collaboration & Strategy – Participate in team discussions to shape research direction, validate findings, and refine recommendations.
- Industry Awareness – Stay informed on relevant industry news, shifts, and emerging developments that may impact research outcomes.
- Project Coordination – Support ad-hoc research needs, document workflows, and contribute to smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Although this is a contract role, you’ll be expected to commit to 40 hours per week with fixed working hours.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business & Management, Economics, or other business-related fields. Applicants with a Marketing background may be considered if they have clear experience or interest in market/industry research (e.g., strategy projects, business case competitions, or research internships).
Proven experience in market research or a similar domain.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Familiarity with online research methodologies and tools.
