Junior Production Designer

Must Have Experience With Getting Designs Ready For Print

Our Healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to join their creative team for a short-term consulting assignment. This role will focus on supporting the design and delivery of marketing and informational materials for annual enrollment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within design systems, managing versioning of materials, and producing polished, content-heavy collateral across print and digital formats within a Healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities

• Execute production design tasks primarily for printed materials such as booklets, flyers, brochures, and other collateral, with some digital components.
• Work within established design systems to maintain brand consistency and manage versioning of materials effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to clean up and finalize translated materials for print and digital use.
• Use tools such as Figma for digital layouts and CSS for styling digital content when required.
• Manage high-priority monthly communications via Workfront, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Design content-heavy pieces, including guides, benefit information, and promotional materials, incorporating strong typography, illustrations, charts, and infographics.
• Prepare final PDFs and ensure all production files meet quality standards for printing and digital distribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production design with a focus on printed materials and some digital content.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable working with CSS for digital projects.
• Strong understanding of design systems and version control processes.
• Ability to handle detailed, content-rich materials with strong typography and layout skills.
• Familiarity with Workfront or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Healthcare or Insurance experience is a huge plus.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
