The Junior Instructional Designer will play a key role in analyzing existing training materials and processes to support the continuous improvement of learning solutions. This role focuses on providing thoughtful, actionable feedback to instructional designers and training leads to enhanced training effectiveness across the organization. Over time, the Junior Instructional Designer will also gain experience in designing learning content and become proficient in instructional design tools. Success in this position will be measured by the quality and usability of the feedback and improvement ideas provided.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate existing training content and learner feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback to senior instructional designers and training leads
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and project meetings, offering creative ideas and learner-focused suggestions
  • Assist in quality assurance reviews of training content with a focus on learning effectiveness
  • Help maintain and organize the digital asset library and project files
  • Support basic edits and updates to existing training materials as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure instructional content aligns with adult learning principles and accessibility standards
  • Contribute to the analysis of learner data and training outcomes to inform content updates
  • Assist in the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Learn and progressively take on responsibilities in content design using various e-learning authoring tools

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in instructional design or sales training (internships count)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and the ability to generate human-centric, learner-friendly insights
  • Tech-savviness and eagerness to work with new tools and platforms
  • Familiarity with instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency in Google Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Technical Skills

  • Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design tools
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems
  • Video conferencing platforms
  • Project management and collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise is preferred but not required

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) - This position requires you to provide your own equipment and workspace.

  • Must have verified internet service(secure, reliable and dedicated high speed is required to support business needs), at least 50mbps speed. And an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection.)
  • Must have a backup for both, internet and power.

  • USB headset.
