Within our Curriculum Services team, we collaborate with publishers, curriculum developers, open educational resource (OER) providers, school districts, and state education agencies. To support this work, our Sales team builds strong relationships with partners and clients, ensuring they are matched with the right solutions to meet their goals. Once solutions are in place, our Professional Education Services (PES) team provides expert implementation and ongoing support, helping districts adopt and sustain high-quality educational resources that truly make a difference in teaching and learning.
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives, emphasizing project management and thought leadership. This role will oversee a team of contractors and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance our brand presence, drive engagement, and support sales efforts. A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with the Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and sales leadership to align marketing strategies with revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Position Education Elements as a thought leader in K–12 education through content creation, webinars, and speaking engagements.
- Connector between Product and Sales teams
- Manage Marketing budget
Outsourced Team Management
- Lead and coordinate a team of outsourced marketing professionals, including those responsible for virtual events, website updates, content development, and social media strategy. Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, integrating outsourced team members into the company culture and encouraging open communication.
Sales Collaboration
- Work closely with the CRO and sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with sales strategies and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain sales tools, including presentations, brochures, sales proposals, and case studies to support the sales team.
- Implement feedback loops between sales and marketing to refine lead generation and conversion strategies.
Events and Partnerships
- Coordinate go-to-conference processes and strategy for national and regional events
- Supporting CRO and SVP on leveraging existing partnerships and identifying new partnership opportunities
Brand Management
- Lead initiatives to refresh and maintain the company's brand identity across all platforms.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone, and swag
Digital Marketing
- Oversee social media strategy and execution to increase engagement and reach.
- Analyze digital metrics to inform and adjust marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of the K–12 education market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, social media, analytics tools).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with brand development and management.
- Background in professional services or curriculum development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 plus Bonus
