Full-stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and testing our software solutions to ensure seamless, efficient, and effective operations. You will have full-stack developer experience and can own our development and coding projects. This is a very visible and impactful role! You will play a critical role in configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and applying best practices and building out future automations and software for PDR!

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $8.1 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm PST - 30 minute lunch break

Friday: 8am - 3pm PST - 1 hour lunch break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Own the user acceptance testing of any new or enhanced system features. This includes system integrations, data management, and user interface improvements.
  • Own PDR's development or coding projects, including full-stack development projects, existing system and coding enhancements, code reviews, and SDLC reviews.
  • Monitor backend system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and quality of service.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams and their departmental heads to understand business needs and translate them into solutions.
  • Collaborate on projects to ensure software flows are validated and tested.
  • Stay updated on new features and updates in relevant technologies.
  • Develop and maintain system development documentation for PDR's coding language standards, best practices, SDLC and code reviews.
  • Work with the Data Management Team to assist with any full-stack coding needs to enhance dashboard delivery or ETL processes that require coding language proficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Full-Stack Development experience (node.js, React.js, MySQL specifically)
  • Proven, multi-year experience in developing and maintaining complex software systems
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with system integrations and API development.
  • Experience with Snowflake a plus
  • Experience with Pipedream a plus
