Senior Full Stack Engineer

District Partners is partnering with a highly respected international law firm to identify a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help drive their custom applications portfolio forward. The Role

You’ll own full-cycle development for custom applications—scoping, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to turn ideas into practical solutions. You’ll also help set coding standards, guide peers, and research new tools to keep the stack modern and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale custom application projects from requirements through implementation, using smart project management practices to keep deliverables on track.
  • Design, build, and maintain new software programs; find opportunities to improve existing systems.
  • Research emerging frameworks, libraries, and tools to keep the development environment current.
  • Provide hands-on technical mentorship to other developers on architecture, best practices, and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain consistent code review processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and train end-users when needed.
  • Recommend and test improvements to boost the quality and efficiency of services and applications.

What You’ll Bring / REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in full-stack software development.
  • Proven ability to guide and mentor other developers on complex technical topics.
  • Advanced skills in client-side development with Angular, NgRx, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong server-side experience with Node.js and related tools.
  • Solid experience working with NoSQL and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with version control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.

If you’re located near a major city, you’ll have the option to align with a local office for occasional in-person collaboration.

Compensation:

Salary is based on location and experience, up to $175,000 base plus discretionary bonus potential.
