This role is for one of our clients, a Toronto-based technology company focused on building AI-powered healthcare consumer experience platforms. They specialize in predictive user behavior modeling and personalized content delivery to improve healthcare program engagement. Their solutions serve health insurers, providers, and consumer health partners across the U.S., Canada, and Asia-Pacific.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our client’s team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining modern frontend applications that power AI-driven healthcare experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience with frontend architecture, modern web frameworks, and automated testing practices.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to create scalable and performant solutions in a secure development environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing frontend web applications using modern frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Ability to write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with secure coding guidelines and frontend security best practices.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and how frontend interacts with backend services.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver according to defined timelines.
• Effective communication skills in a remote, cross-functional team setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain frontend web applications using modern technologies.
• Participate in technical design discussions and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement high-quality user interfaces.
• Perform code reviews and uphold quality standards across the codebase.
• Monitor application performance and proactively address issues.
• Ensure secure coding practices and adherence to system operation policies.
• Communicate project assumptions and clarifications to minimize rework.
• Provide and receive timely feedback as part of a collaborative team culture.
• Participate in incident response processes as needed.
