As a Front End Engineer at Send, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our underwriting workbench-the heart of our SaaS platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Angular and modern front-end technologies to deliver intuitive, high-performing interfaces that bring complex insurance workflows to life. You’ll contribute to new feature development, improve existing UI components, and help drive design and usability across the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing as an Angular Engineer
- Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable Angular components that power our underwriting workbench.
- Creating clean, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience.
- Writing modular, package-ready code as part of our Nx monorepo.
- Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to turn requirements into elegant front-end solutions.
- Writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to front-end best practices and standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving UI bugs and performance issues across different browsers and devices.
- Supporting the evolution of our design system and helping ensure visual and functional consistency across the platform.
The Skills and Experience Needed for the Angular Engineer Role
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of type safety and modern front-end development practices.
- Proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested Angular code in a commercial environment.
- Experience working with state management libraries in large-scale applications—ideally NgRx.
- A good eye for UI detail and experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Confidence in writing unit and end-to-end tests, with a proactive approach to ensuring code quality.
- Skilled at identifying, debugging, and resolving front-end issues across various environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—you’ll work closely with Back-End Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- A self-motivated mindset, comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, agile team.
