Email Marketing & Design Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Email Marketing & Design Specialist to help freshen up and elevate our email newsletters, support audience engagement, and contribute to broader marketing efforts in the sports and entertainment industry.
This role will support two professional tours, requiring someone who understands and can connect with fans and consumers—not B2B audiences. You'll bring strong email, design, and copywriting skills to the table while helping manage and personalize fan communication.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Email Campaign Execution: Manage the design, build, and scheduling of weekly and bi-weekly email newsletters using HubSpot.
- Design Visually Engaging Emails: Use Canva, Photoshop, or other design/editing software to create eye-catching, professional emails.
- Support Newsletter Strategy: Help refresh and improve our overall email look, feel, and performance.
- Copywriting & Editing: Refine or write copy to maintain a tone that resonates with fans.
- Inbound Email Support: Monitor and respond to the inbound fan email inbox using templates, adding personal touches where appropriate to nurture our community.
- Audience Growth & Engagement: Assist in identifying opportunities to increase subscriber count and enhance fan engagement across digital platforms.
- Light Graphic Design Tasks: Create quick-turnaround graphics for email or social media (e.g., event promotions, announcements).
What You Bring
- Experience with email marketing platforms—HubSpot proficiency is a big plus. If you have a preferred email editing tool or system to integrate with HubSpot, that’s welcome too.
- Strong eye for design, layout, and consistency across communications.
- Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Photoshop—no coding or HTML experience needed.
- Background in consumer or fan-facing marketing (ideally in sports or entertainment).
- Ability to manage multiple email databases and juggle priorities across tours.
- Professional communication skills and business acumen.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
