Job Summary

Versa Networks is seeking a strategic, creative, and execution-oriented Director of Content Marketing to lead our global content strategy. This role is responsible for developing and delivering compelling, high-impact content that communicates Versa’s differentiation, educates the market, supports the buyer journey, and drives engagement across digital and field channels.

The ideal candidate is a B2B enterprise marketing leader with deep knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and/or cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with product marketing, digital marketing, sales, and executive leadership to ensure consistent, persuasive storytelling across all customer and influencer touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content strategy and development across web, campaigns, thought leadership, product launches, sales enablement, and customer marketing.
  • Own the content calendar and editorial plan, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and buyer journey stages.
  • Develop high-quality content including whitepapers, blogs, customer stories, videos, e-books, solution briefs, and social media assets.
  • Partner with product marketing and subject matter experts to translate complex technology topics into compelling narratives.
  • Ensure message consistency and tone across all content, aligned to Versa’s brand voice and market positioning.
  • Manage external writers, editors, designers, and video partners as needed.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize impact across channels (web, SEO, email, paid, social).
  • Support corporate communications, analyst relations, events, and partner marketing with tailored content as needed.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B content marketing experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or enterprise software.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills — with the ability to distill technical concepts into business-relevant messaging.
  • Proven experience leading a content function or editorial program in a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with content marketing platforms (e.g., CMS, SEO tools, marketing automation, analytics).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • A creative mindset, a strategic brain, and a bias for execution.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $150,000 to $210,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
