Genasys Inc, the leading provider of protective communication solutions, is seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in social media to join our dynamic marketing team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that enhance Genasys' online presence and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media management. This role requires a balance of creativity and data-driven decision-making to drive successful campaigns across a variety of channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Maintain and update the company website using WordPress.
- Lead SEO/SEM initiatives to increase organic traffic, search rankings, and conversions.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improving website design, layout, and content.
- Collaborate with the demand generation team to develop, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels to promote Genasys' products and services.
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot) to track and measure campaign performance, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce compelling digital content for ads and web pages.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and digital marketing best practices.
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage Genasys' social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content tailored to each platform and audience.
- Drive community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to raise brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, and generate leads.
- Analyze social media performance to measure engagement, follower growth, and campaign success.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, product launches, and other key initiatives via social media channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or social media management.
- Proficiency in WordPress is required.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot).
- Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager and Google Ads Platform.
- Strong understanding of social media management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Hootsuite) and social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Strong passion for social media, understanding engagement, with the ability to test and recommend paths to grow engagement and followers
- Knowledge of CSS and HTML is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of video content creation tools (e.g. Fliki, Opus Clip) is a plus.
- Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.

Benefits:
