We are looking for a self-driven graphic designer with a background or interest in architecture/real estate to join our team.
NOTE: This role is dedicated to one account, where you’ll be staffed full-time on one (1) account, essentially working as a full-time Designer under their direction. The client is a top US real estate and investment management firm based in New York City.
The ideal candidate has deep experience across digital and print design in multiple channels (ads, emails, decks, illustration) and is passionate about using their design skills to support the success of a major US institution.
While you’ll be expected to work dedicated on one account, you’ll have access to Darkroom’s entire design and creative team. There is opportunity to work on additional clients after 8-12 months of strong performance on the dedicated account.
This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain.
What You'll Do
Design digital assets that support a range of client marketing initiatives briefed by the client:
Digital ad units (display, social, video, GIFs, and statics)
Powerpoint deck design
Maps
Emails
Create space illustrations including floor plans and building stacking plans based on CAD files provided by architects.
Design print-ready assets such as tour boards and event invitations.
Communicate with the client directly and present designs on calls, leading the client through workshopping, and obtain approvals while maintaining a strong working relationship.
Collaborate closely with the client for feedback and approvals to ensure your work adheres to a high standard of craft.
Act as a strong steward of the Darkroom brand in providing top-tier design services and owning the quality and satisfaction of services received by the client.
This role is on the Creative team and reports to the Director of Creative. You’ll work alongside a team of 10+ Designers, each supporting their own roster of clients.
