About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in presentation design, skilled in information layout, and have a strong eye for design. This role is essential for creating compelling, on-brand presentations that communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop visually engaging presentations, technical documents, and manuals for internal and external audiences
• Organize and structure complex information into clear, concise, and compelling layouts
• Ensure all presentations adhere to brand standards, maintaining consistency in visuals, tone, and messaging
• Incorporate basic graphic design elements, such as icons, infographics, and charts, to enhance storytelling
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into impactful visuals
• Revise and update presentations based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years within the marketing industry, ideally focused on content and presentation space in a fast-paced, constantly changing organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of PPT and its advanced features (animations, master slides, templates, etc.)
• Keen eye for design, layout, and typography
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency with brand guidelines
• Basic graphic design skills and experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and execute on project requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in creating corporate or marketing presentations
• Knowledge of data visualization principles and tools
• Familiarity with additional presentation platforms (e.g., Keynote, Google Slides)

• Defense tech / AV space experience would be a plus

US Salary Range

$90,000 - $110,000/annually

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra’s overall compensation package. In addition to base salary and equity, Forterra offers competitive benefits for full-time employees including:
