What We're Looking For

  • You'll work directly with the co-founders and significantly influence and drive the direction and culture of the company
  • You think backwards from user experience and have a sense of building delightful products
  • You know when to move fast with a bias for action, and when to slow things down with a more considered process
  • Have a passion for the interdisciplinary problem that we are solving and are product-driven. Our product roadmap has features that are large with open-ended scope
  • Can deconstruct tricky problems and work towards a simple solution, by yourself or collaboratively with teammates and are comfortable asking for help when you get stuck
  • Are left to autonomously figure out the solutions to their challenges
  • Put yourself in the shoes of our users to craft a great experience
  • Enjoy being a generalist and is naturally curious and willing to take a step to learn something you don’t have experience in while building the product
  • Feel a great sense of accountability to each other and are open to ambiguity
  • Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

Skills & Experience (You would get straight up to speed on day one if you)

  • 2+ years of working full-time as a software engineer (we are happy to waive the experience criteria if you feel you are exceptional, educational qualification is no bar)

  • You've owned & built features from start to finish before

  • Must have Experience with REST/GraphQL, NoSQL Databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB), AWS/Azure/GCP Microservices, OAuth2, OIDC, Docker Containers

  • Built REST/GraphQL APIs before and managed them in different staging environments

  • Worked with NoSQL databases

  • Worked with server less architectures in AWS/Azure/GCP

  • Familiar with OAuth2 and OIDC for authentication and authorization

  • Worked with Docker containers

  • Nice to have Experience in AWS (API Gateway/AppSync/ EC2/Lambda function) Elastic Search, boto3, SAM, WebRTC, WebAudio API

  • Worked with AWS , API Gateway, AppSync, EC2, Lambda functions

  • ElasticSearch

  • Deployed deep learning models

  • Worked on optimizing inference for neural nets

  • Familiar with Github Actions to deploy a CI/CD pipeline

  • Used boto3 and SAM to handle AWS ops

  • Familiar with WebRTC and WebAudio API
