Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Backend Developer to join a large-scale enterprise team operating on an East Coast schedule within a Scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems that support corporate data operations, with a focus on batch file processing.

Handle data ingestion and transformation from multiple sources, primarily using SQL.

Generate output files and contribute to workflow optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data integration and system performance.

Act as the technical point of contact in the absence of the Technical Lead, providing guidance and making key decisions.

Skills And Requirements

Java 1.8 development experience.

Experience working with JSPs, including the ability to build new JSP screens.

Proficiency in integrating with REST APIs, particularly OTP APIs.

Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (excluding Spring Boot).

Familiarity with IBM WebSphere servers, including local configuration.

Strong troubleshooting skills with legacy codebases using the above technologies.

Proven experience as a technical lead for 2+ years, with the ability to guide and support team members. null
