We’re a nimble, independent tech company crafting platforms like Okta Health, our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) solution transforming how physical therapists manage patient care.

We’re now expanding our engineering team and looking for a Backend Developer with solid Go (Golang) experience to help us scale our systems and build robust, modern APIs.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go for our core products.
  • Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to ship end-to-end features.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps tools to deploy and scale infrastructure.
  • Ensure code quality through tests, reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Help define backend architecture decisions as we grow and evolve our stack.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience with Golang in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, backend architecture, and database modeling.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, remote startup environments.
  • Solid Git workflows and comfort with modern development tooling.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with gRPC or GraphQL.
  • Prior work in healthtech or related compliance-heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with ICF/ICD/healthcare data models or FHIR (a big plus but not required).
  • Contributions to open source or impressive personal projects.
