The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical AutoCAD Specialist to join our remote team. This role goes beyond drafting—you’ll help translate complex engineering concepts into clean, accurate, and innovative structural drawings that drive construction success.

What You’ll Do

  • Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for geostructural designs (plans, sections, details, etc.)
  • Design and implement custom macros and automations to streamline workflows
  • Develop dynamic blocks and attribute-based libraries for consistency and efficiency
  • Interpret engineering sketches, specs, and concepts into precise design documents
  • Prepare figures, illustrations, and layout sheets for reports and presentations
  • Organize digital files, templates, and internal standards for project continuity
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing within the team

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD (structural/civil focus required)
  • Advanced experience with macros, automation, attributes, and dynamic blocks
  • Ability to create full 2D/3D drawing sets from raw inputs (not just redlines)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering/Design field
  • Strong grasp of construction plans, specs, and structural components
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work 8 AM – 4 PM EST from a remote setting

Preferred, Not Required

  • Experience with ground improvement, slope stabilization, or earthworks
  • Knowledge of STAAD.Pro, MathCAD, or PLAXIS software
