We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Architect Designer to join our multidisciplinary team at Pistil Consortia. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and delivering innovative architectural projects, supporting the design process from concept to construction. You'll collaborate closely with senior architects and project leaders, contributing to our mission of creating inspiring and functional spaces that elevate the ordinary.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Support
- Assist senior architects, designers, and project leaders in developing conceptual and detailed designs.
- Produce architectural drawings, renderings, and models using Revit.
- Prepare presentation materials and participate in client meetings with team support.
Project Documentation
- Support the production of construction documents, including drafting plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Conduct code research and ensure compliance with building codes and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) regulations.
- Follow established templates and standards to ensure consistency in project documentation.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with internal team members and external consultants as directed.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned deliverables.
Problem-Solving
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Find alternative solutions while escalating issues to the Studio Leader or team and work collaboratively with them to determine the best course of action.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Learning and Development
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve technical skills and knowledge of architectural practices.
- Be open to constructive feedback and apply it to future tasks.
- Stay informed about updates in software, design trends, and industry standards relevant to the role.
Weekly Reporting
- Produce and submit weekly reports to the Studio Leader, summarizing project progress, challenges, and key achievements.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a collaborative and respectful attitude within the team.
- Adhere to company policies and workflows, including proper file organization and documentation.
What we are looking for:
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in architecture or design-related roles.
- Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
- Familiarity with architectural documentation and construction drawing sets.
- Ability to create high-quality renderings and presentation materials.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
- Strong graphic and visual communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
- Soft Skills:
