UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.
Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.
And we never give up.
For every child, peace
The UNICEF Country Office Development and Support (CODAS) section within Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP) in Geneva, Switzerland, has ongoing requirements for the production and design of digital content pieces to carry out specific fundraising support for emerging and established markets in the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA), Europe and Central Asia (ECA), and West and Central Africa (WCA) regions. Through this LTA, CODAS would like to establish a roster of Digital Designers able to ensure smooth delivery of digital content pieces.
The high-quality content packages will be either uniquely created or adapted/refreshed based on existing and proven UNICEF global fundraising campaigns, featured for various digital platforms, including Google, Meta, and Bing, among others. The selected consultants will work on both new campaigns and adapt existing ones, designing static, dynamic, and video ads. Additionally, selected consultants will be responsible for writing engaging ad copy that drives results for both campaign and web content.
These services will be critical for frontier and established markets to deliver tests and develop their digital plans and targets. The consultants will work directly with CODAS, the ECA team, as well as digital agencies, in order to support digital activities.
How can you make a difference?
Purpose Of Assignment
To meet these requirements, UNICEF would like to engage the services of digital designers for digital content creation for the ESA, WCA, and ECA regions, covering both frontier and established markets. These services are essential for maximizing digital initiatives, as fundraising tests and regular digital acquisitions would not be able to proceed without high-quality designers’ services. At the same time, there is no available internal digital design capacity. On a long-term perspective, establishing private sector fundraising activities for frontier and established markets might diversify and offset program budget (currently coming from public donors).
Objectives
The overall objective is to set up a Long-Term Agreement to facilitate and expedite the process by which CODAS (for ESA and WCA regions) on one side, and the ECA on the other side, will hire digital designers.
Digital designers will be required for the creation of digital content packages 1) based on existing UNICEF global campaigns, and 2) uniquely created specific digital content packages, in both cases explaining UNICEF program activities in the field to primarily raise funds from individual donors.
Major Tasks To Be Accomplished
The successful respondents must provide well-designed digital content packages for various digital platforms, Meta, Google, Bing, among others - all aimed at recruiting individual donors, primarily pledge and cash donors.
The requested formats will include primarily adaptations of UNICEF global digital campaigns and in some instances, uniquely created content:
