About The Role

We’re looking for a WordPress Web Designer to join a lean U.S.-based web studio that builds clean, SEO-first sites for a variety of clients (hotels, shops, landscapers, and more). You’ll work directly with the founders, owning projects end-to-end from mockup to launch.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate design mockups into pixel-perfect Elementor templates
  • Customize themes, modules, and custom CSS for unique layouts
  • Optimize images, meta tags, and on-page elements for SEO
  • Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, theme issues, and hosting quirks
  • Provide clear status updates via Slack and join regular video check-ins

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of hands-on WordPress development with Elementor
  • Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Familiarity with cPanel, Plesk, or similar hosting environments
  • Strong eye for clean design and mobile responsiveness
  • Clear English communication—comfortable on video calls
  • Self-driven, dependable, and proactive problem solver

Bonus Points

  • Experience with on-page SEO tools, schema markup, or site-speed tweaks
  • Basic graphic design skills (logos, banners, simple branding assets)
  • Background in small-agency or startup environments
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing multiple industries
