The Role & Impact:

This isn’t just a web design role. You’ll be building and optimizing high-performing WordPress websites that generate leads, rank well, and load fast—without bloated code or unnecessary complexity.

You’ll take full ownership of your builds: fixing issues before they escalate and developing new projects from scratch using Elementor, Astra, and clean, conversion-driven structure. You’ll be trusted to hit deadlines, execute efficiently, and deliver work that aligns with both SEO and user experience best practices.

Responsibilities:

Website Development & Optimization

  • Build clean, high-performing WordPress sites using Elementor, Astra, and custom code.

  • Convert PSDs or designs into responsive, SEO-friendly websites that prioritize speed and UX.

  • Implement structured site architecture and best practices for performance, indexability, and scalability.

Site Maintenance & Speed Enhancements

  • Improve mobile usability, load speed, and Core Web Vitals across new and existing sites.

  • Manage plugin updates and resolve site issues via ManageWP without introducing conflicts.

  • Audit and troubleshoot technical SEO or UX problems that affect rankings or conversions.

Custom Functionality

  • Write and refine HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for custom features or performance boosts.

  • Customize themes, integrate APIs, and enhance functionality based on project needs.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with our SEO, content, and project teams to ensure sites are aligned with campaign goals.

  • Manage multiple builds and updates at once while staying on schedule and within spec.

  • Communicate proactively—flagging issues early, asking smart questions, and staying solution-oriented.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Technical Expertise

  • 2+ years of WordPress development experience with Elementor and Astra.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and Photoshop.

  • Ability to take a PSD or design file and turn it into a responsive, SEO-optimized site.

Performance & SEO Knowledge

  • Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals, load speed, mobile usability, and structured data.

  • Familiarity with SEO-focused site architecture and indexability best practices.

  • Comfortable working inside Google Search Console, Analytics, and Tag Manager.

Problem Solving & Execution

  • Strong troubleshooting instincts—able to identify, fix, and prevent issues fast.

  • Understands CRO and user behavior, not just code.

  • Moves quickly without missing details, and consistently hits deadlines.

Project Management & Communication

  • Can manage multiple builds or site updates at once without dropping the ball.

  • Comfortable using ClickUp (or similar tools) to stay organized and communicate progress.

  • Works well with remote teams and communicates clearly, early, and often.
