Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in BigCommerce to help update and improve our existing website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and a proven track record of working within the BigCommerce platform. This role requires attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while following brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain the company website using the BigCommerce platform
• Customize themes, templates, and site functionality
• Optimize website layout, user experience (UX), and mobile responsiveness
• Troubleshoot and fix website issues or bugs
• Implement SEO best practices on-page
• Collaborate with other team members for content and design changes
• Ensure website updates are completed in a timely manner

Requirements

• Proven experience in web development, especially with BigCommerce
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
• Experience with BigCommerce themes, APIs, and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with SEO principles and web performance optimization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design and brand standards
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
• Understanding of eCommerce UX best practices
• Knowledge of other platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress) is a plus
