We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Platform group, specifically the Hub/Integrations team. This team plays a critical role in achieving our mission of building the Operating System for Sports by working on our flagship product (Hub) and the foundation for our future (Platform/Integrations). You'll lead high-impact projects across product teams, architect scalable solutions, and help define the technical foundation that connects our entire ecosystem.

Game Plan - How You'll Drive Impact

  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs that power Teamworks' ecosystem
  • Lead high-impact projects across product teams, driving technical decisions that shape our platform architecture
  • Own and enhance the Hub/Integrations platform, ensuring seamless interoperability across Teamworks' suite of products
  • Design and implement well-tested, maintainable frontend and backend components using modern web frameworks (React, React Native, Flask, FastAPI, Sanic)
  • Optimize backend performance by working with PostgreSQL, designing efficient queries, and improving database scalability
  • Drive discussions on microfrontend architecture, ensuring modular, scalable, and maintainable front-end experiences
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences
  • Improve deployment pipelines and automation using CI/CD practices to enhance code reliability and developer efficiency

Player Profile - What You Bring To The Team

  • Expertise in modern frontend development, particularly React and/or React Native with deep understanding of component composition and state management
  • Strong backend development experience, including Python (Flask, FastAPI, Sanic) with proven ability to build scalable services
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including query optimization, database performance tuning, and schema design
  • Experience with microfrontend architectures and building reusable, scalable frontend components
  • Understanding of modern API design (GraphQL, REST) and backend development best practices
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing such as RabbitMQ, Celery, Amazon SQS and Apache Kafka
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.)
  • Experience implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity

Compensation Philosophy

For this role, the salary target is $180,430 with your final offer determined by your experience, skills, and interview performance. Every Teamworks teammate is an owner, with equity aligning your success with ours.
