For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior CAD Designer, remotely from India.

As a Senior CAD Designer, you will be responsible for drafting, updating, and ensuring the quality of P&ID’s, PFD’s, Layouts, and other technical drawings. You will work within CAD standards, either company-specific or client-defined, ensuring that all deliverables meet required specifications and deadlines. Your role will require collaboration with CAD coordinators and managers, and you'll be expected to report daily on progress, ensuring that all projects are completed within the allocated budgeted hours. Attention to detail and adherence to quality procedures will be crucial in maintaining high standards.

Accountabilities

  • Draft, update, and deliver P&ID’s, PFD’s, Layouts, and other technical drawings as per project requirements.
  • Follow CAD standards, either client or internal, ensuring all drawings are created and checked for accuracy.
  • Conduct self-checks on CAD drawings to ensure compliance with the quality standards.
  • Report daily on work progress to the CAD Coordinator or Manager, highlighting any challenges or issues.

Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and maintain project schedules.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in an engineering consultancy firm, specializing in AutoCAD for drafting P&ID’s, PFD’s, and Layouts.
  • In-depth experience and proficiency in using AutoCAD, including all tools and functions.
  • Strong understanding of self-checking CAD drawings to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • A diploma or degree in Engineering or a relevant technical qualification with experience as a CAD Designer.
