What You Bring

  • A Hungry Mind: You’re eager to learn and grow. We offer mentorship, feedback and proven processes, but it’s your drive and curiosity that will make the difference.

  • From Rookie to Rocky: No previous experience? No problem. We value humility, hard work and a commitment to self-improvement over a packed résumé.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript: Whether you’re an expert or just starting out, we care about your ability to learn and grow. If we like your application, you’ll receive a coding challenge to demonstrate your skills. Don’t worry if you’re new to our tech stack—some of our best hires started from scratch and excelled by showing dedication and adaptability.

  • Strong English Skills: You can communicate effectively with the team in English. German is a plus but not a must.

  • Enrolled in Studies: You’re a student for at least 3 more semesters and available for 20 hours per week.

  • Located in Germany: You are based here and ready to dive into this exciting opportunity.

No cover letter required! If you want to apply, don’t submit a traditional motivation letter. Instead, send us 4-5 sentences about your personal upsides and downsides of working with TypeScript, or share links to open-source contributions you’ve made (don’t worry if you don’t have any—it’s not a requirement). Contributions can include comments, commits, pull requests, issues, or anything else that showcases your engagement and skills. Please include your expected period of study here!
