About The Role

We are seeking a WordPress and React Developer to join our small, agile, and globally distributed development team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and passionate about building elegant solutions to complex problems. You will work extensively with WordPress core, themes, and plugins, as well as our React-based front-end interface. This remote full-time position includes competitive salary, full benefits, and paid vacation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to improve our products
  • Collaborate positively and humbly within a small team environment
  • Take initiative to advance your development skills and apply new knowledge
  • Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins with best coding and security practices
  • Work closely with JavaScript, React, and Flux technologies to enhance the front-end experience

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of WordPress core at the code level
  • Proven experience building WordPress themes and plugins
  • Mastery of WordPress coding standards and security best practices
  • Proficiency in PHP, CSS/SASS, HTML, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, React, and Git

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with React + Redux
  • Gutenberg block development
  • TypeScript knowledge
  • Unit testing with Jest, PHPUnit, WPUnit
  • Contributions to open source software
