Web Developer (Remote)

Are you a high-energy web developer with a proven track record in design and development, ready to streamline website builds? We are seeking a talented and reliable Web Developer to become a crucial extension of our team, focusing primarily on e-commerce solutions. This role starts part-time with the potential for rapid growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

• E-commerce Development: Develop (mostly e-commerce) websites on Shopify and WordPress (potentially Wix, Squarespace)
• Website Design & Implementation: Design visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts and flows (if design-focused), or implement provided designs
• E-commerce Integration: Integrate e-commerce functionality (checkout, product pages, shipping, payment gateways)
• Strategic Input: Provide strategic input on website structure and features
• Website Maintenance: Maintain and update existing client websites
• Critical Thinking: Think critically about website structure and user experience
• UX Improvement: Propose suggestions to improve user experience and conversion rates

Who You Are:

• A decent track record of building visually appealing Shopify and WordPress websites
• Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Proficiency in responsive web design and mobile optimization
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and functionality
• Ability to translate design mockups into functional websites
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proactive and able to think critically about website solutions
• Experience in designing visually appealing website layouts and user flows (a big plus!)
• Basic graphic design and photo editing capabilities(a big plus!)
