About The Role

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to lead user experience initiatives across our web, mobile, and cloud platforms. This role is responsible for designing intuitive interfaces that empower brewing professionals with powerful insights. The ideal candidate is skilled in user-centered design, has a strong understanding of data visualization, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team. This is a remote position, with occasional travel required to our Durham, North Carolina office or other US locations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, and persona development
  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications
  • Create AI-enhanced design workflows to support rapid prototyping and ideation
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards that simplify complex information
  • Maintain and evolve a cohesive design system across platforms
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and marketers to ensure high-quality implementation
  • Present design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for user needs across the product lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of UX/UI design experience across web and mobile platforms
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes with measurable impact
  • Proficiency with Figma and experience using AI-powered design tools
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, WCAG accessibility standards, and component-based design systems
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must possess a valid passport or Real ID and ability to travel domestically

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the brewing, manufacturing, or B2B/enterprise software industries
  • Expertise in data visualization for complex datasets
  • Familiarity with front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Experience with AI tools such as UX Pilot, Galileo AI, Visily, Adobe Firefly, or Midjourney
  • Motion design and animation capabilities
  • Prompt engineering skills for AI-assisted design
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
