About The Role
WiserAdvisor is looking for a part-time contract UI/UX Designer to elevate the user experience across our platforms, including Indyfin—a powerful reputation-building solution designed for financial advisors and RIA firms. As a designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how advisors and their prospects engage with our product, creating intuitive, elegant, and user-centric interfaces.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to design thoughtful experiences that drive trust, engagement, and conversions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a designer who wants to see their work move the needle in a rapidly growing company serving the wealth management industry.
What You’ll Own
UX/UI Design Execution
- Translate user needs and business goals into clean, modern, and effective UI designs
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for our web experience
- Design new features and iterate on existing ones based on user feedback and product objectives
- Ensure design consistency across components, screens, and platforms
User Research & Feedback
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights
- Interpret data and feedback to inform UX decisions and identify friction points
- Collaborate with the product team to prioritize improvements based on user impact
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work alongside developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Contribute to and evolve our design system and style guide
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally with B2B or SaaS products
- Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful UX and clean, modern UI design
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design improvements
- Ability to work independently and manage your time across multiple projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to present your work to stakeholders
Bonus:
- Familiarity with the financial services or advisor/RIA space
- Experience designing for lead gen or review-based platforms
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus (but not required)
Contract Details
- Type: Part-time, Contract
- Hours: ~15–20 hours/week, flexible
- Duration: Initial 1 month with opportunity to extend
- Start Date: ASAP
- Non-US candidates are okay, but must be willing to overlap with US ET business hours
