ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Play a critical role in developing and optimizing our user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and either Remix or Next.js: Create intuitive interfaces for our property valuation tools
- Build dynamic visualization components that display complex data in accessible ways
- Develop responsive designs that work seamlessly across devices
- Lead UI initiatives to: Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience
- Enhance the accessibility and usability of our interfaces
- Develop maintainable and reusable component systems
- Collaborate across teams to: Work with UX/UI designers to implement cohesive and user-friendly interfaces
- Partner with backend engineers to integrate frontend solutions with our APIs
- Engage with product managers to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem
- Experience with either Remix, Next.js, or similar React frameworks
- Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with frontend testing methodologies (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern CSS approaches (CSS modules, styled components, etc.)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Experience with data visualization and charting tools such as Plotly or D3
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
- Experience with modern AI development tooling
- Proven track record of ownership and delivering results in a collaborative environment
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
