About Us

SFG20 is the industry standard for building maintenance. Providing services and pioneering technologies that empower people to create and sustain safer buildings.

Our mission is to make buildings better using our standard, software and expertise. Our vision is to become the leading authority for built environment maintenance that protects and enhances quality of life.

About The Role

We’re looking for a creative and highly visual UI Designer to join our growing product team and play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our B2B SaaS platform. This is a role for someone who thrives on turning product requirements into clean, intuitive, and visually engaging interfaces—and who can confidently present multiple design options when exploring new functionality.

While this is not a UX research-heavy role, you will be expected to engage directly with end users to validate your ideas through A/B testing and by observing real-world usage patterns. You should be able to work closely with product managers, product owners, developers and customers to refine designs based on actual behaviour and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and present multiple visual design options for new product features and enhancements
  • Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand and product goals
  • Create prototypes and UI mockups using Figma (or similar) to illustrate design options
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to identify areas where UI changes can improve usability
  • Lead and support A/B testing efforts to assess and iterate on design decisions
  • Engage with users (via interviews, feedback sessions, and usage analytics) to understand how the product is used in real-world workflows
  • Production of promotional imagery to illustrate new functionality to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and evolve our design standards while ensuring consistency across screens and components
  • Prepare final UI assets for developers, where appropriate
  • Work closely with product managers, product owners, developers and customers to refine designs based on actual behaviour and user needs

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years of experience designing UI for web applications, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of UI projects, including multiple visual approaches to solving the same problem
  • Excellent skills in Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe CC, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, data-informed design decisions, or interaction analysis
  • Comfortable engaging directly with end users to gather feedback or validate design assumptions
  • Able to balance visual flair with functional clarity and accessibility standards
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain your design rationale to stakeholders and developers

Desirable Experience

  • Facilities Management technologies/CAFM solutions experience.
