About the Role: We are looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team of front-end engineers at Interos.ai. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of our core product, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user interfaces while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing guidance on best practices in UI development and ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Architect and implement scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and back-end teams to define and deliver exceptional user experiences
- Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the team, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and optimize application performance through effective debugging and testing strategies, utilizing tools such as Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to our platforms
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong portfolio showcasing web applications
- 4+ years of experience in a managerial role of a software development team
- Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with proficiency in modern frameworks and libraries
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Observability tools such as Datadog.
- Experience in building SaaS products.
- Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Proficient in testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress for unit and integration testing
- Experience working in startup
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity With Snowflake, GQL
- Experience in performance optimization and accessibility best practices
- Knowledge of TypeScript and state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to details
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000 USD (depending on experience and location)
- Variable Compensation: Performance-based annual bonus
- Equity: Stock options included as part of total compensation package

Work Environment, Location and Travel:
This is a remote-first role open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees may optionally work from our Arlington, VA HQ. This position may require up to minimal travel.
