Exodus is seeking a Staff Ethereum Engineer to lead wallet integration across Ethereum and EVM-compatible L1s and L2s. In this position, you will focus on optimizing transaction success, minimizing fees, and delivering a seamless staking experience. The ideal candidate knows how to build fast, reliable wallet infrastructure that users can trust. Expertise in Ethereum’s account model, transaction lifecycle, and the nuances of various L2s is essential.
What You Will Do
- Contribute meaningful code for Ethereum features across the Exodus products.
- Identify areas for Ethereum integration improvements.
- Develop and improve asset wallet architecture.
- Implement opportunities to improve customer experience in the wallet
- Improve and maintain send success and transaction landing rate.
Who You Are
- You’re a proficient JavaScript developer with extensive experience working on projects that utilize a broad range of the Node.js ecosystem.
- You demonstrate a strong track record of contributions to blockchain-centric applications as part of a team.
- As an on-chain sleuth, you can effectively reason about the behaviour of transactions and smart contracts and often write custom scripts to help guide your analysis.
- You have a strong understanding of the most popular ERCs and EIPs. Additionally, you can reason about the potential implications of future EIPs.
- You are security-conscious and have a strong awareness of common on-chain and offchain vulnerabilities.
A Plus
- You've helped author or maintain open source projects.
- You have contributed to or discovered vulnerabilities in smart contracts which are still in use today.
- You are an advocate for DeFi and have a detailed understanding of DeFi primitives.
- You like to innovate on bleeding-edge technologies and execution modalities such as ZK and PBS.
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
