Software Engineer (Backend)

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable APIs and backend systems that power identity verification
• Work across Python, Postgres, Redis, and AWS to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure
• Implement risk rules, fraud scoring logic, and orchestration flows
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and ops to launch new features
• Optimize data pipelines, third-party integrations, and platform building

We’re Looking For

• Strong backend fundamentals with 2+ years of experience (Python preferred)
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Comfort with building REST APIs and integrating with external services
• Understanding of security, scalability, and system design
• Bonus: Experience with Docker, Flask, FastAPI, Celery, or AWS
