As a senior software developer on the Telematics team, you’ll be joining during an exciting and challenging time as the use of Telematics data is expanding across Usage Based Insurance (UBI), Claims, CRM, Special Lines and Commercial Lines. You’ll support our continued advancement of cloud technologies and CI/CD capabilities through various projects and initiatives. You’ll be working on projects involving Snapshot wireless devices, AWS cloud-based solutions, policy management, batch processing, business transactions, order fulfillment, and CI/CD pipelines. Participation in the on-call rotation schedule for application support may be required.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience with AWS services such as S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Lambda
  • C#/.NET and Angular development of Web services, APIs, Web applications, and Windows services
  • JSON, XML/HTML, SQL queries, and stored procedures
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with business partners
  • Advanced analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

  • $115,000-$132,000/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
