These standards undergo rigorous, multi-year development processes, ensuring to meet complex requirements and align with industry protocols. Data Standards Team is responsible for defining message structures, validation schemas, and data dictionaries, making it possible to maintain data integrity across exchanges. Collaboration with stakeholders allows tailoring each IEPD ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance, supporting the organization's mission-critical exchanges with external partners. Team members work contributes to the smooth integration of structured data flows and lays the foundation for uniform, validated information exchange.
In addition to IEPDs, the Data Standards Team is responsible for developing API standards and creating comprehensive guidance for the organization. This effort involves defining protocols for API authentication, versioning, and data formats to promote consistent and secure API usage across development teams. The standards streamline the development of APIs by setting expectations for design patterns, security measures, and data handling practices, ensuring compatibility and maintainability across services. Once the standards are finalized, Data Standards Team will roll out organization-wide training and documentation, helping developers align with the new API protocols.
