At ONYX Insight, we're looking for a Mid-Level Software Developer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our tech stack and renewable energy platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be hands-on in developing and refining technology that powers the renewable energy sector. Working with modern C# .NET and React, you'll contribute to building robust, high-performance systems that support our core products.

What You'll Do

  • Build and Deliver: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of new features across backend and frontend systems.
  • Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to deliver user-focused solutions.
  • Write Clean Code: Develop maintainable and scalable applications using C# .NET (6-9) and React.
  • Support DevOps: Work alongside platform engineers to integrate CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure automation.

What You'll Have/be

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial software development using C# .NET.
  • Some hands-on experience with frontend development using React (at least 1 year).
  • Exposure to application architecture concepts, such as APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally AWS.
  • Basic experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and modern software delivery.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Enthusiasm for solving real-world problems through technology.
