The Software Developer will code and develop software applications. The Software Developer will be responsible for working with stakeholders to elicit project requirements, recommend strategies and collaborate with team members, as needed, to ensure projects meet requirements and are completed on time.

Essential Functions

• Create, maintain and update ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Java Script, and HTML code on all web applications, windows services, automated jobs and system generated reports
• Work with multi-department team members to develop new applications and create product releases for existing applications
• Analyze and solve technical issues impacting application performance
• Integrate existing software into new or modify systems or operating environments.
• Recommend product revisions or enhancements based on user feedback.
• Develop and maintain documentation and/or user manuals.
• Perform related tasks as requested.

Education

• BS in information technology, computer science or a related field is preferred; the equivalent amount of relevant experience will be considered in lieu.

Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in software development

• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately convey messages
• Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management or organizational skills
• Ability to solve problems, use analytical skills and implement solutions
• Knowledge of agile development practices and scrum methodologies
• Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.Net, C#, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Azure, Blazor
• Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, XML

Compensation And Benefits

• Compensation $78,000 - $97,700 annualized

Working Conditions

Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen).
