About This Role
As our internal Software Developer, you will help drive innovation and efficiency throughout the organization by building applications that are streamlined, easy-to use, secure and relevant to the work being performed by stakeholders in any given business process that utilizes, or should utilize, software applications.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience or AA (2yr) degree with 3+ years of development experience preferred.
- Development experience with C#, .NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, MS Visual Studio
- Development experience with front end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Blazor, and responsive design.
- Ability to work with guidance from a lead software engineer on a development requirement from concept to completion with appropriate documentation and communication throughout the process.
- Strong understanding of programming theory including full understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities – able to find and resolve issues in the code quickly and efficiently.
- Produce high quality and maintainable code.
- Ability to design and implement relational data structures in an RDBMS system such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Prefer experience in mobile application development or an ability to quickly learn technologies like MAUI.
- Prefer experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, ability to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple disciplines concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality, and discretion while working collaboratively in an office environment, independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
