ABOUT THE ROLE

A freelance Social Media Manager is needed to oversee content creation and account management for a cleaning company’s Instagram and Facebook presence. The role includes developing and posting 8–12 pieces of content per month, such as reels, carousels, and static images. Responsibilities include ideation, graphic design, caption writing with effective hashtags and CTAs, and scheduling via official platform tools. The manager must also submit content for approval in advance and suggest creative content strategies like seasonal campaigns or user-generated content. This is a part-time, remote position with a monthly retainer following a one-month trial.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management
  • Strong portfolio with examples of content within lifestyle, cleaning, or related service industries
  • Ability to design content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Skilled in writing clear, engaging captions with effective hashtag use and calls-to-action
  • Experience using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Proactive in suggesting new content formats and campaign ideas
  • Familiarity with managing DMs and comments is a plus
  • Reliable communication and adherence to brand security and access protocols
  • Availability for an ongoing contract following a one-month paid trial
