RAID Studios is a comprehensive publishing support partner, specialising in esport, community building and creative services within the games industry. We work with game developers and publishers, as well as brands around the world, delivering S-Tier third party services. Founded in 2017 by industry veterans, we're now expanding our remote team.

Please note that we are only accepting applicants who are resident in the European Union or The UK.

We're looking for an organised, motivated Social Media Manager who's eager to take the reins of a major international game brand. You'll help us craft and maintain the voice of a rewnowned game studio, delighting their players with content and communications.

For this role, we're seeking a candidate who can start immediately.

Tasks

  • Help create content for various platforms including TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and more traditional social media platforms like X, Instagram etc.

  • Help us develop authentic relationships with players through transparent communications and clever management of our platforms.

  • Align social media and community plans with marketing strategy and tone of voice.

  • Analyse campaigns and translate qualitative data into recommendations and plans for improvement.

  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams, both internally and externally, including development, creative, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • You must be a gamer. No matter what genres or titles you enjoy, a passion for games is an absolute must!

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a Social Media role, preferably in the games industry or in a relevant role.

  • You're an expert with video content - you know TikTok like the back of your hand, and your knowledge of YouTube Shorts is encyclopedic.

  • You're not afraid to try new things. You're able to take an idea from the concept stage to launch, address its effectiveness, and make the decision on whether to continue iterating based on objective analysis of the results.

  • You communicate through multiple types of social media and you're able to land nuanced messaging to fit the tone of each platform.

  • You’re culturally aware and player-focused in how you approach campaigns that have an impact. You understand the different platforms and channels players use, and you have a vision for what a thriving community needs.

  • You're an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written forms.

Bonus Points

  • You're familiar with survival games such as Valheim, Rust, and RuneScape Dragonwilds.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Healthcare package for employees based in Ireland

  • 25 Days Flexible PTO

  • 100% remote working

Worth knowing! We want someone who will be able to pop off in this role. You'll get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the games industry and you will directly shape the player facing voice of the titles you work on.

We encourage every member of our team to be bold and never shy away from trying new things. Jumping on trends is great, but we also want to set some of those trends. Are you ready to build the best community in the world? If so, we want to hear from you!

Some hints to help you stand out!

Try to provide a very short, snappy and to the point CV that gives a snapshot of your background and achievements. Make sure to include a cover letter that goes into great detail about who YOU are. We want to know what you stand for and what motivates you!
