As Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape the voice of Microsoft Learn across social platforms. You’ll work closely with other social media managers, creative partners, and social strategy leads to bring our brand to life through writing, scripting, and real-time engagement. This role blends creativity and community care—you’ll write high-impact social copy, script short-form videos, approve and QC agency work, and manage conversations that build trust and connection with learners worldwide.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 2+ years direct or indirect experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience working with social media for a large commercial brand.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND 4+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
OR equivalent experience.
Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, archival, or a similar certificate.
Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses).
2+ years of experience in social media, copywriting, or digital community management.
Copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and formats.
Experience scripting for short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) with a focus on storytelling and clarity.
Ability to manage and moderate social communities with empathy and consistency.
Familiarity with tools like Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
Integrated Learning IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
