Shopify Front-End Developer

We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer who’s not only strong in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — but is also excited to work directly with merchants and leverage AI tools to solve real-world eCommerce problems quickly and creatively.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work independently to complete small-to-medium Shopify theme customizations

• Communicate directly with Shopify merchants via our task desk (written communication only)

• Deliver high-quality front-end development work using:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Shopify Liquid

• Tackle styling and layout challenges with a strong design eye (pixel-perfect work)

• Use AI tools like OpenAI, Claude, Gemi, and Cursor to:

• Speed up coding

• Translate merchant requests

• Enhance communication or research

Who We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of front-end experience with Shopify
• Proven ability to deliver polished, responsive designs
• Comfortable working solo, managing time, and juggling multiple tasks
• You care more about solving real problems than hitting arbitrary experience numbers
• You enjoy experimenting with AI tools and are not afraid to let them enhance your workflow
• Strong written English is a plus — but if you’re not perfect, you know how to use AI to bridge the gap
