Senior Marketing Communications Manager

Synamedia is a leading provider of video and content delivery solutions, helping video service providers, broadcasters, broadband operators, and video streaming services deliver high-quality video and broadband experiences to their audiences. As Synamedia continues the growth of our SaaS products and enters new markets we are looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Manager who can lead our Global external communications strategy to manage and amplify our voice to support the business in achieving its growth objectives. In this role, you will work with Sales, Product and Marketing teams across Synamedia to plan and execute all external communications activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and our external PR agency.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a good understanding of B2B marketing, and a track record of crafting impactful communications.

Key Duties

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing communications plans that support our business and marketing objectives delivering measurable campaigns on time, and to a consistently high quality
  • Lead and manage corporate communications guidelines and brand voice ensuring the tone of voice across our business lines achieves a high level of consistency across our outbound communications
  • Own and drive the corporate-wide social media strategy including planning and execution, internal advocacy, and escalation management
  • Manage external public relations agency including direct contact with the press
  • Create and manage outbound customer communications including newsletters, direct mailers, landing pages and other such communications
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize future initiatives.
  • Work with the Marketing team to manage corporate positioning and messaging across Synamedia’s business lines
  • Work directly with the Executive Leadership team to craft, design and deliver external corporate communications
  • Work with the Marketing team to increase the value gained from AI assisted tooling in our Marketing operations
  • Edit and proof-read marketing materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on the technology or media industry, with a 4+ years in a marketing communications leadership position
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience of writing marketing content in a high-tech industry. Experience in media/video market verticals preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems
  • Experience with direct press relations and collaborating with PR agencies
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders
  • Native English speaker
