Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js/ React/ Strapi)

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer on behalf of a Hong Kong-based client who is expanding their product capabilities in the digital procurement space.

This role involves leading development projects across the full stack from design to deployment. You will build robust backend services using Node.js and Strapi, and create responsive, dynamic frontend applications using React. You' ll collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features, while maintaining code quality and optimising system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-stack development projects from design to deployment, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js and Strapi (Headless CMS)
• Build responsive and dynamic front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and improvements
• Maintain code quality through best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong expertise in Node.js, React, and Strapi
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern web architecture
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiar with DevOps practices, cloud environments (e.g., AWS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in Git and modern development workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred:

• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with procurement or supply chain platforms
• Based in Malaysia or open to remote work aligned with Asia time zones
