This is a remote position.

We are seeking a React Developer (Typescript and Go) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Building out frontend applications using React and Material UI to present data visualisations to users
Learn and begin to work with the Golang backend microservices that manage configuration and transform data, with mentorship and support provided. - Review designs and code; identify areas for improvement - Get involved with other development team activities: testing, alerting, building and deploying - While this role is frontend focused, we want someone that is curious about backend development and keen to learn more. - You will join the Data Deliverables team, responsible for building representations through which our clients receive their data. - This is a cross-functional Agile team consisting of an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, other Full Stack Developers, QA, DevOps, Data Analysts, a BA and a PM. - Knowledge sharing is key at organisation and you will have the chance to learn more about the product, tech practices and backend development from all team members. - Our current Tech Stack: TypeScript React, MaterialUI Go MariaDB, ClickHouse Git, GitLab.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience. - Strong experience with React and TypeScript. - A positive attitude and willingness to learn – we’re more interested in the right mentality than a specialism in a specific technology. - Experience reviewing the code of other developers and helping establish team quality standards. - Experience writing automated unit tests. - Experience with microservices and microservice architecture. - Experience with Go. - Experience building apps for data visualisation. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
