About The Role
Quality is a shared responsibility across all roles at CoverForce, and QA Engineers contribute to this mission by building tools, systems, and processes to validate the performance and quality of our product.
This role is a perfect fit if you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and wear many hats as you develop the testing strategy and frameworks.
What you'll do
- Drive quality across all disciplines, providing guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices across the engineering organization
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
- Collaborate with Engineering and Business Analysts to identify system requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to identify their testing needs and design/implement a solution
- Maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies
What we're seeking
Must have
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance both on Frontend and API testing
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as Manual Testing, Automated Testing etc
- A strong sense of pride in the quality of your work and embracing ownership
- An obsession for customer experience
- Ability to work remotely from India
Nice to have
- Experience working at a start-up
- BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
- The ability to take a broadly defined task and fill in the gaps without every detail being laid out for you
- A self-starter who is able and excited to work both independently and as a collaborator with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality product is shipped to the end-user/customer
