About Your New Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in Python and React. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure services.
  • Build dynamic, responsive user interfaces with React, following modern design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Work closely with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments.
  • Document technical specifications, architecture, and development processes.

Required Skills

What you'll need for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong portfolio of Python and React projects.
  • Proficiency with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern libraries.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest).
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
