The Product Designer plays a key leadership role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our digital products. This position is responsible for driving design strategy and owning the full product design lifecycle—from discovery and UX research to prototyping and high-fidelity visual design. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Product Designer leads initiatives to evolve the design system, deliver exceptional user experiences, and align design work with business and user needs.
Responsibilities
– Lead all phases of product design, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and visual execution
– Guide and mentor other designers, fostering a high-performing, user-focused design culture
– Own and evolve the product design system to ensure consistency and scalability
– Collaborate with product managers, engineers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to define and deliver design solutions
– Facilitate design sprints and usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and iterate effectively
– Translate complex user needs into intuitive flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
– Communicate design strategies, decisions, and user insights across teams and stakeholders
– Promote design best practices and ensure alignment with company goals and brand standards
– Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
– Travel to customer sites and company events as needed to support user research and collaboration
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, UX Design, HCI, or a related field
– 3+ years of experience designing for web and mobile products, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects
– Strong foundation in user-centered design, visual design, and design thinking methodologies
– Expertise in Figma and related design and prototyping tools
– Comfortable working with design systems and agile product development workflows
– Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular environments (not for coding, but for understanding capabilities and limitations)
– Skilled in user research, usability testing, and communicating design findings
– Experience In Healthcare Or Oncology Settings Is Preferred
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
– Resilient and adaptable to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
