Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive E-Commerce & Marketing Support VA to help us manage and streamline key aspects of our business operations, marketing, and customer experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and can support the founder by driving projects forward with minimal handholding.
- Compensation: 540AUD/month
- Schedule: 24hrs/week within Sydney Business Hours
- Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to customer service inquiries via email and social media within agreed timeframes, ensuring our high standards of customer care are maintained.
- Administer and support day-to-day social media management, including content scheduling, post creation, engagement, and supporting content planning.
- Design and create high-quality, on-brand marketing collateral using Canva for social media, website updates, and email campaigns, ensuring consistency with our brand’s look, tone, and feel.
- Assist with basic video editing for promotional use (including Meta ads and organic content).
- Update and manage website content and banners using Shopify (product uploads, blog articles, basic maintenance — with provided access).
- Execute email marketing campaigns and prepare EDMs and SMS campaigns.
- Assist with reporting, admin tasks, and project coordination as required.
- Research new product opportunities and assist with supplier outreach and communication.
- Support with designing mockups for new product development (both physical and digital products).
- Assist with content repurposing and help in building content calendars and email flows to nurture customers and drive conversions.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with attention to detail and empathy.
- Experience in social media management and content planning.
- Excellent design skills using Canva (or similar tools) with a keen eye for branding, visual storytelling, and detail, ensuring that all content is visually appealing and aligned with the brand identity.
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar).
- Experience with Shopify for website updates and content uploads.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailerlite, or similar).
- Highly organised, efficient, and capable of working independently without micromanagement.
- Ability to follow instructions but also proactively spot areas to add value and improve processes.
